1. Overview

The Journal of Nursing (China) is hosted by Southern Medical University, organized by Nanfang Hospital, supervised by the Department of Education of Guangdong Province, and serves as an academic journal that comprehensively integrates theories, methods, and practical experiences in clinical nursing, nursing research, nursing education, and nursing management. Established in 1995, the journal is published bi-monthly, with circulation both within China and internationally. It encompasses a wide range of sections, including the International Nursing Forum, Graduate Student Insights, Nursing Education, Nursing Management, Evidence-based Nursing, Research Investigation, Literature Review, Clinical Nursing, Traditional Chinese Medicine Nursing, Specialized Nursing Insights, Foreign Nursing Research, Health Management, Mental Health, Disaster Relief Nursing, and Academic Debates.

Journal of Nursing(China) has received numerous accolades, including recognition as a National-Level Outstanding Medical Journal, excellence in adhering to the CAJ-CD standard, distinction as an Excellent Journal in Guangdong Province, and acknowledgment as an Excellent Scientific and Technological Journal in Guangdong Province. Additionally, the journal has been honored as an Outstanding Editorial Unit at the National Level and recognized as an Exceptional Scientific and Technological Publication among Chinese Universities. It has also been awarded the collective third-class merit honor twice.

Journal of Nursing (China) has consistently held a place in the Chinese Core Journals of Science and Technology for two decades, from 2003 to 2023. In 2020, it earned inclusion in the Chinese Core Journal Overview. Furthermore, in 2022, it was featured in the prestigious World Journal Clout Index (WJCI) Report. In the same year, it gained recognition in the esteemed database of the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST).
