- Biography:
Dr. Zhang is the Director of the outpatient department of Huiqiao Medical Center. He is a doctor of surgery and received his M.D of Public Health Administration and Ph.D in Laval University in Canada. He is both a general practitioner and a surgeon. He has engaged in medical practice for more than 20 years. He was a visiting scholar in the affiliated hospital of Laval University, Canada. He has been studied abroad for six years, among which he has engaged in family medicine for nearly two years.
Dr. Zhang achieved excellence record in the Canadian Certificate of Doctor-Patient Communication Training. Dr. Zhang won the Prize of Guangdong Science and Technology Progress, presided over and participated in more than 10 provincial and municipal research funds projects.
Dr. Zhang has worked with many academic organizations. He is currently a fellow member of the International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua), a deputy director of General Practice Committee of Guangdong Provincial Association of Chinese Medicine, a standing committee member of Quality Control Circle Committee of Guangdong Hospital Association, and a director of the Guangdong Primary Health Care Association.
