- Professor Li is skilled in using minimally invasive surgery combined with new technology of precision medicine to treat recurrent and refractory nasal skull base tumors. And he has rich experience in common otolaryngology diseases such as upper respiratory virus infection, allergic rhinitis, adenoid hypertrophy in children, chronic sinusitis, nasal polyps and so on.
- Biography:
Professor Li has engaged in otolaryngology for nearly 30 years, focusing on nasal diseases and head and neck tumors. He studied abroad at the Institute of Molecular Oncology in University of Hong Kong and School of Medicine at Stanford University in USA. He has led teams to carry out scientific research exploration and clinical transformation, and achieved a lot of results. Professor Li hosted 2 projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China and many provincial and ministerial projects. He published more than 30 high-level academic papers and edited 2 monographs. He also obtained five national invention patents.
Professor Li is an evaluation expert of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and a Standing Committee member of Nasopharyngeal Cancer Sub-Committee of the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association, the Guangdong Medical Association's Otolaryngology Branch. He also is the leader of the Organoid Group of the Guangdong Society for the Application of Precision Medicine and the chief expert of tumor organoid pharmacovigilance in Precision Medicine Center of Southern Hospital.
